I just logged onto the Internet at 4:15 P.M. and saw a headline announcing the death of Whitney Houston at age 48. Immediately I turned on CNN. It's all over the news.

(The first CD I ever got, on Christmas Day 1991, was Whitney Houston (1985), her self-titled debut album.)

May she rest in peace, it was so saddening. she was a real lady and the world of the music lost another irreplaceable figure.
