Courtney Love was seen as a Yoko Ono--not a serious artist in her own right but a talentless gold-digger/social climber latching onto a brillian musician. So in the popular imagination, especially when Kurt Cobain killed himself almost twenty years ago, Hole was just a footnote.

Oh but Yoko Ono was (is) very talented. And Courtney Love,too. I agree with Lennon that Ono was a victim of racism and sexism.
I think Yoko Ono is talented. Her music isn't commercial, but I like it. Of course, she's been tarred as the one who broke up The Beatles, but I think they were going their separate ways.
