Oh, no. What a lovely cat. It looks like one of those Siamese crosses that come out black.
My sympathies.
Thank you. Simon was a stray from down the road who came to our house one day in summer 2005, all scrawny. He thrived under our care, and usually stayed close to home. The neighbor found him dead last week Tuesday by the road. We think Monday night or early Tuesday morning he was chasing something, or being chased, and was hit by a car.
All of our pets have been strays. Our big cat, Freddy we found yowling in the backyard shrubbery. He had a broken hip, it turned out. The vet fixed him up, and $200.00 later he was just fine.
He remains very vocal and demanding.
